No. 4 Ohio State got 17 points and 12 rebounds from Lenzelle Smith Jr. in a 64-49 win over No. 20 Michigan. The Buckeyes took first place in the Big Ten with the win.

Great W over meat chicken
Is it just me or is there something wrong with the boards? On mobile phone.
This was some of the very best job of rebounding we have seen this young team do to date. They were relentless and aggressive....Smith and Thomas were men among boys here....great win, considering Buford and Sully played very average games....that is the mark of a good team...If Smith keeps this up, he is a gem and the key going forward....his effort helped raise the team effort...usually it's Craft who's effort they feed off of....today it was Smith and he was amazing....still don't understand Buford and the turnovers....traveling calls, poor passes.....he is just not in it sometimes....seems like once he gets "pissed" off, he plays at a different level.....Thad needs to do something to have him start the game that way....great win....great defense for the most part today....team is gaining momentum.
It was a very good win for the Buckeyes. With the exception of Hardaway and Burke, UM is a bunch of well coached plodders who run a very effective no center offense and foul the hell of the opponent on every possession. Their strategy and some good 3 point shooting kept them in the game for 30 minutes but then our superior athleticism took over. Lenzelle played great. He can contribute in so many ways. I hope we finlly learned that when they are double teaming Sullinger, the best thing to do is to pull him and out and open up the middle. It opens everything up for our athletes. A tough one coming up in Wisky. Go Bucks!
I meant pull him outside and open up the middle . . .NOT pull him out of the game as my fat fingers may have indicated.
Lenzelle Smith = David Lighty, Jr.

Three generations of Buckeye Pride!
It was an extraordinary game by Lenzelle -- particulary when you consider he is supposed to be a guard! He was tough on "D", relentless on finding the empty spot for rebounding, and consistently outhustled the skunkweasels on the boards. He was clearly a difference maker. And what I can't believe is that he also chalked up 17 pts, through critical garbage pts and finding the hole for his teammates to hit him with passes for bucket. This young man has come a long, long way!

I'm becoming a huge lenzelle smith Jr. Fan. Love that kids intangibles...hustle, penetration, defense , rebounding and ability to score. Also becoming a bigger fan of Matta giving the bench quality minutes. This may be our best run come March yet!
Here is our photo gallery on the game:
I MUST go a little Bucknuts every day.
Announcer: "One minute, one minute remaining in the game!"
Fans: "... and Michigan still sucks!"
There was something i noticed in this game, in the 1st half when they decided to rest Craft and put Shannon Scott in, Scott really seemed to go after Burke. I am pretty sure he forced Burke into 2 bad passes and he worked hard to try and prevent him from penetrating. It really had no effect on the outcome of the game but it seemed that Scott maybe took it as a personal challenge for the short time he was in the game. Go Bucks!!!!
