Attention Bret Bielema and assorted Big Ten coaches with something to say about Urban. The People's Champ now has the microphone ...
The People's Champion
Great article. Times a changing at OSU. Love the new energy. Embrace the hate
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit." - Aristotle (384-322 BC)
Man, I'm psyched. No one brings it on like the Baxster. He reflects the attitude of us Toledo fans who guard the northern borders.
Bax, you got a gift my friend! Awesome read.
Ahhh, wow. Bravooo.
Great stuff Bax!
It's so easy for the Little Ten to moan and complain... because they couldn't go and poach a verbal commit from us if they WANTED to!
OF COURSE they all want a "gentleman's agreement!" They have nothing to gain and only recruits to lose otherwise. If they had any other option they would do the very same thing... and not just try in futility like they do now.
Dry your tears and get used to it Little Ten... its not gonna change.
Good stuff Bax
U R Right on! Keep up the good work I really enjoy reading your info. They need to hire you asap since we get as much info from you as Bucknuts directly lol. God Speed Buckeyes from SoCal
Outstanding read Bax! I love it! The Ohio State University - "So Good it Should be Illegal"!
If OSU didn't get a top twenty five class, then nobody would be complaining. Let's not forget that Mstate recruited Pittman up until LOI day, even though he decommitted and verbaled to OSU. The Bret's complaints are expected given his propensity to whine, but I think it is very telling that PSU staff is not complaining. If there was anyone victimized in recruiting it was PSU, and Urban capitalized in a big way.
Great read, nicely done! Again (as usual)! Thanks.
..pay forward ........................................he made them pay...............................he'll make them pay again and again
Great article, Bax! Thank you!!
What I despise about Bielema's attitude toward recruiting is his notion that he owns these players. It's as if he thinks they are his property, not human beings, and that if they change their minds about where they want to attend college, he has personally been robbed. To him, it's theft.
To most civilized adults, it's a teenager changing his mind. People who have ever had a teenager live in their home know that this happens hourly. It's part of being a teenager -- you try new things, like some, hate others, try something else. It's what they do and it's who they are. For a college coach not to get that is appalling. For a college coach to think he owns the rights to someone else's teenaged son is an outrage.
The message from Alvarez after his coach came complaining about Urban Meyer should have been "Time to replace our football coach", not "I'll talk to the commissioner for you, loser."
When in doubt, punt.
Very Nice. BUT>>>>>
Please, don't EVER use that picture at the top of your article again. I don't want to have to buy a new laptop because my fist flew through the screen.
"The message from Alvarez after his coach came complaining about Urban Meyer should have been "Time to replace our football coach", not "I'll talk to the commissioner for you, loser"
Alvarez is a big of loser (if not bigger) as those working for him, Bielema and Ryan !
Quoting some folks more famous than me:
They hate us, cause they ain't us, so................................................
Deal with it!
Can't wait to go to the Spring game this year. I pray for sunny skies that day. I am predicting 90,000+ fans.
Nice radio presentation, it's a shame there wasn't more time for you, I could have listened to more.
Thanks for the great update.
