And I hate it when apologists like you gloss over what TP did by saying "but they did it too!! they did it too!!!" like a fucking toddler!! Okay... fine I hate them too. They are also to blame. NOW can you address TP and why or how you could excuse him or ever root for the asshole???

And then you guys say something priceless...

Yeah... aftre TP the ring leader... got our entire program in a shit load of trouble, Tressel tried to protect them and the team and covered up their violations. He did indeed make it worse...but don't act like he fucking started it!! AND HE WAS FIRED AND RUINED FOR IT!! Terrelle was the GENESIS of the scandal! And all he had to do was RAT on his TEAM so he could enter the draft. He shit on his coach, his team, and his school!!! And now...when hasnt suffered any real consequences, like the program did, like Tressel did, like the school and fans have... YOU WANT TO ROOT FOR HIM AND HOPE THE PIECE OF SHIT IS AWESOME??????

So change the subject or blame Tress for it all..... But I don't know how ANYONE can call themselves a true Buckeye fans if you root for him! If you have his back over Tressels, our program and school... you aren't.

I hope for nothing but pain and failure for him! Whoever he plays against is my favorite team!

A. Brought down our entire program? We just finished an undefeated season, and are likely to be favorite contenders for the national title next season. How exactly does that equal "bringing down" a program?

B. Jim Tressel got himself fired by lying. Cold, hard fact. Had he been forthcoming, penalties would have been imposed, but Tressel would have kept his job. Love coach Tress, and will always be thankful for what he did for the University; but the man made a mistake. He has a job and is in a position (serving as an AD, and possibly becoming President of a University) that he likely envisioned himself doing at this point in his career anyway. He would not have wanted to leave the way he did but I know for a fact he is happy about where he is in life.

C. From a strictly business standpoint (and don't kid yourself, to everyone but us fans..college football is nothing more than a business) Pryor made an intelligent decision. He wasn't going to play here ever again.

D. Well, I'm sure the opinion of a message board nobody carries serious weight to anybody actually involved in the program. (sarcasm, in case you didn't catch on)

And regarding your final comment, only a piece of rat filth would wish injury upon a man playing a GAME, whether or not he made mistakes.

I would think a guy who idolizes a guy such as Coach Tressel would have more respect for his values. You think that Jim Tressel would agree with any part of your post? He would more likely shake his head and wish that angry bigots such as yourself weren't any representation of Ohio State's fan base.

No TRUE Buckeye fan ever believed that our program could be held down for long, or that one incident was enough to take down Buckeye Nation.

At least you stay consistent, hurling out personal insults and yelling every time an argument different than yours is thrown into discussion. Much easier to spew the same old schtick than to actually engage intelligently.

When did I ever say our program could be held down for long??? Of course we were gonna bounce back strong! Thank God we have the best coach in the country now that we have Urban!! I wouldn't trade him for Tressel or anyone else! His love for Ohio State is so obvious and the fact that he's the best coach in the land....wow! We really lucked out!

That, however, does not change the fact that he did indeed do damage to our program. Quit dancing around the issue with semantics. You don't care, you forgive him, he's your buddy. Great!

I guess there are those who remember and care about what Jim Tressel did for this university and community for the decade he was here. And those of us that have his back, don't have Terrelle's. That's just the way it is. I feel the same way now about coach Meyer.

I don't wish injury on him....but I also don't care. If he gets hurt... won't bother me a bit. Just like anything that happens to his team, coach and this school doesn't bother him.

Go hug his poster, cause he's not allowed on campus because of what a "great guy" he is. Odd...because listening to all of you talk about what a credit he is to OSU and how much his success reflects good on us, you have to wonder then why is he BANNED from setting foot on campus for 5 years???? I mean if he's such a credit to us.... I guess I just don't understand. Sad though, all you guys wont be able to mob him and tell him how great he is.

Pryor traded some memorabilia for some tats...big deal. Tress knew about it, and then lied. Who was the adult? Tress should have suspended him and the others at that point but didnt. How is Pryor such a bad kid. Did he rape someone? Drugs? Destruy property? Bully a child? Really, go back and do some research. Ask yourself, "if he was my kid, would i think he was such a bad person?" Dont be an Ass. He IS a Buckeye! He paid to heavily for such a small mistake. Blame the coaches for not setting an example. Remember, Tress knew about this in April. It didnt get reported until after the reg season.
