247 and others are enamored with camps, it is obvious. Morris threw for about 1400 yards against bad competition in Michigan last year, and week one this year went 14 for 26 for 177 yards against a very very weak Ann Arbor Pioneer team, maybe Ohio 3 D type talent, maybe. He was not good in a state play off loss either.
The play off's last year, Marshall went for over 300 total yards against elite Cincy Moeller.
Now Marshall puts up pin ball numbers against mighty St. X., and that 64 yard TD was just silly sick, and he justifies even more he is the best offensive player in the midwest, hands down.
Who cares he will transition to WR and some wildcat QB at OSU, he just dominated another Ohio D1 football powerhouse by himself, again.
These camp ratings using a flag football setting where the QB has no pressure and the DB's lay off the WR's vs. getting it done in games against elite D1 factories like Moeller and St. X like Marshall does most weeks is what most of these ratings should be based off of, not these silly flag football camps.
Most of these ratings are based at showing up at these flag football camps and self promoting yourself, you can see game film against elite competition in pads factors very little into their rankings.
Bosa is another example, a slight drop due to no camping. Go watch Bosa's film, look at his offer list and he plays against the best talent nationally and in Florida, his film and offer list exceeds these flag football camps.

Urban will get this kid in space and terrorize slow Big Ten defenses, plus he has the option to pull up and pass as well.
Just look at the week one numbers of Elliott, future Buckeye Gibson (plus his dazzling FNL's display) and Marshall, plus Baugh and Barrett.
Meyer will have a field day with these kids coming into the system. Big Ten defenses across the board do not have the speed to defense these kids in space, especially in Meyer's offensive schemes.
Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
I think those in this thread fighting the good fight for Marshall to get his 5th star (which he absolutely should) are looking at it more from the perspective that Jalin has earned it and deserves it rather than that they can pat themselves on the back about how a 5 star HS prospect will be playing for their favorite school.
