Stock down on Brady Hoke is wishful thinking. They have 4 losses, 3 of which are against top 5 teams, and in the other their starting QB was injured. They are on target to bring in a 2nd top 10 recruiting class and have found their QB for the next 2 years.

You need to analyze Penn State's roster a little deeper. Penn State was 9-4 in 2011 and was 8-4 this season. Penn State had the best passing QB in the Big Ten in McGloin, and one of the best defenses led by a pair of seniors in DT Jordan Hill and LB Mike Mauti. I know the sheepherders have tried to tell everyone that Penn State had a decimated roster in 2012, but that was not factual in the least. Penn State's drastic decline won't begin in earnest until 2013. It's amazing that people didn't actually look at the team Penn State fielded this year. It's as if people, like the person I'm quoting, couldn't look past the scandal to see the players on the field. Some good players. Players that had an even better record the previous season.
Therefore my friend, I must say, your post is very disappointing. You need to decide whether you are going to post well, or post weak material like this. ;-)

I don't see how The Meyer's stock is up, it should be steady. When he was hired a year ago, he was predicted to win multiple and consecutive national championships, balance the federal budget, and cure cancer. Now you're telling us that his stock is up from that starting point? What additional accomplishments are we now expecting from him? Cold fusion?
OK OK OK, sarcasm button off. I guess you could consider it up since he took a team that had the prospect of going 12-0 and actually doing it.
I also have to consider Dantonio's stock down, at least a bit. We all know he got hit hard on offense by graduation, but he had a lot back on defense and to go from playing in the conference championship game to 6-6 is a bit too far of a fall to be steady. Not that he is in any danger of losing his job, but I'm sure all of the Lansing fans will be breathing a bit easier after an 8-4,9-3 or even better record next year.
Likewise Hoke's stock, while again not in any danger of termination, has to be down a bit. Michigan-Ann Arbor fans were definitely expecting a conference title this year after last year's (insert your own derogatory adjective) performance. Granted the heart of the team (Robinson) was hurt for several games, but even when healthy they couldn't compete with the top teams they played. AnnArbor fans may poohpooh it, but visiting their own board at the end of the regular season showed they certainly had some questions about Hoke's coaching decisions.
