He's going to slip in the draft. Maybe not out of the first round but I'd guess 5-12 picks.
Sucks for him, but great opportunity for a contending team. Also less pressure on him during his rookie contract.

I don't think this will stop Sully from getting drafted in the top 10.
Here is what I found most interesting from that story, though:
"In 2009, Pittsburgh's DeJuan Blair was also red flagged by the NBA when medical tests at the NBA combine revealed he didn't have ACL's in either knee. At the time Blair was projected as a late lottery pick. He slid all the way out of the first round."

I've got problems with the fact that NBA doctors can make recommendations to not draft players in first round? Seems like there could be conflicts of interest. Weird....something shady about the NBA.

Selfishly, I am really hoping he falls to Houston at 14 or 16. They are my favorite team and I would LOVE to see Sully play for them.

Btw that is totally a dig on commissioner stern because he told that to jim rome when he asked a similar question.

Happens in the NFL too. Doctors were warning teams to not waste a high pick on Da'Quan Bowers

True its a large investment, you don't want to make a mistake with an injured/injury prone player. I've honestly never felt He would fare that well in the NBA to begin with. Great winner at the High school and College level, but the NBA is a whole different speed.

Before this, I said he would struggle as a pro. I like Sully & hope he exceeds my expectations. A good kid, but IMO a great college player, NBA>yet too be determined.
