Yeah, even our own cheerleaders say "lets go ohio". Personally I find it funny that they try so hard to have something like our ttun....Even whole state of mich song....they are pathetic. Also, iknow several scum fans and I ignore them when they refer to us as ohio....I think it really bugs them when I dont even aknowledge their reference....

It isn't any different? Have you heard any of our coaches call them anything other than Michigan or the Wolverines. If I am mistaken, let me know.

You're right about the coaches. I was speaking strictly in terms of us fans.
The fact that it gets under some of your guys' skin is what makes me laugh ... that's what they want, and they got you.
It's a non-issue and should be taken as such.

We are "The" Ohio State University. The fact of the matter that we use the word "THE" before we regularly say the rest of our name indicates that we feel there is no other in Ohio. We are number 1 and no other behind us. When they call us Ohio they are absolute right. There is only us. Ohio University should be mad at them as well as us for not acknowledging them.

Could care less so long as his press conference is about a defeat. Made my day that that little elbow throwing ass clown Novak did nothing at all today for them.
Beilein, like Lloyd and Jim Harbaugh, sures does not give the same hand shake in defeat as they do in victory. True and sorry ass lack of characer in my opinion. Sore loser babies.
And I agree with Ohiost83. They had at least 15 moving screens that were not called.

We do, however, frequently refer to them as "the school up North." What's the difference? That's the way it goes with rivals. As long as we win like we did today they can say whatever they want. Our response can simply be "SCOREBOARD!"

It is different. These are head coaches, not fans, leading a concerted effort to disrespect OSU. Other than Woody, I know of no other coach who had a nickname for Michigan. What if Matta and Meyer started calling them Michigan University and implicitly encouraged others to do so?
And I never heard of one person from Michigan complain about Woody - I believe they took it as a compliment that he hated them so much he couldn't bring himself to mention the word Michigan.
