Honestly, he's too good. I know this is Ohio State, and even with an average coach, we're going to pull in our share of five stars, but Robert Foster is that game changer. He's the guy that forces a double team and opens up the TE over the middle, or causes the LBs and Ss to play back and give the RB some bigger holes. He had a bad visit and lost his offers from Ohio State and Michigan (according to Bill, I believe, though I could be wrong), but I really think he understands that he's made mistakes. The fact that he realized that he was wrong and the fact that he's been working to restore his image are encouraging. The chemistry and "family feel" that quite literally every recruit has said about OSU on their visits is a huge factor in my comfort in pursuing Foster. I think the staff and players will take care of him, because he's the type of guy that seems like he'd only be damaging to the locker room, and not to the program because of off the field stuff. That's stuff that can be taught. If this were anyone but a guy of Foster's caliber, I'd probably say the risks outweigh the potential reward, but the idea of landing two blazing fast playmakers in Robert Foster and James Quick to go with Jalin Marshall? Risks aside, you have to say, Robert Foster, James Quick, and Jalin Marshall on the same field is pretty scary looking. In the end, all I'm saying is, I don't care what happened in the past. That's done, all I'm looking at is the future, and hopefully it involves a lot of 40 yard TD passes to Foster.

JMO...OSU was wise to back off. I genuinely hope PSU does the same. High risk/potential high reward, but we certainly haven't received glowing impressions of his demeanor either. It appears as though it's a Pitt/Bama battle anyways. Those would be appropriate landing destinations.
