Best Head Coach at OSU, ever, for my money. Great representative of the school and state. He made a mistake, but his body of work is extraordinary. Class guy. I back him.
I have a good friend very high up in the Purdue community....I mean very high. Fair to say there is nationwide angst in the athletic administrations, and at school admin levels about the entitlement attitudes and behaviors of student-athletes at DIV 1 football programs. The economics and media hype surrounding the sport are going to be hard to reign in, and "where is my share?" is on the minds of more than a few kids. Governance of college sports is heading for a catharsis.
Kid uses his talent to win games and be a good citizen....what's the problem is exchanging HIS OWN PROPERTY for something else. Hey, this is an issue we all discussed during the Tat Five expose. What happened was not illogical.
That said, OSU and JT has to pay the penalty per the existing rules of the NCAA.

I'll never look at him the same. He built up an image, which sets yourself up for a fall. With that said, he made a big mistake and has now accepted responsibility with a fair punishment. I have come to terms with this and the conspiracy theories need to stop. Learn, grow, and move on from this decision. Go Bucks!!

As a Youngstown State graduate I am a very big supporter of Coach T. He is a class act all the way and has an unbelievable personality. This is a man who continues to give back to the Youngstown community and he will be a positive influence in Columbus for years to come. We all need to remember, he didn't break a law, or even commit a recruiting violation. He made a mistake (big as it was) & is answering for it. However, I hope that we can all let it go after this ordeal is over. As Mr. Bucknuts always says. "This is a great time to be a buckeye." We should all be happy that JT came to OSU and hope that he continues to win in the future. Everyone I know fully supports Coach T & I hope that the rest of buckeye nation will too as soon as spring ball hits. This is a great man and he has given us a decade of greta teams. Lets be happy when year 11 starts in 6 months.

Lets hope his best coaching is ahead of him. Him and and staff will have a monumental challenge this year to live up to the expectations of the Buckeye community. Expectations that they set and continue to field teams each year that has the community full of optimism.
Maybe its just my opinion, but I'm assuming Buckeye nation expects this team to win another Big Ten Championship, get to a BCS game, and win!
I am sure there are others out there just crazy enough to believe we can run the table. I am hoping the players think that way.

I have my theory of what really happened and I believe I'm not far off, especially after following a couple of posters who seem to have info that points to there being more to this story than what is visible on the surface. If I'm right, we probably will never know the real truth. I will always stand behind JT and I refuse to believe that what we have seen thus far is the extent of the truth of transgressions in this matter by more than just those that have been brought to light.
