"If, if, if" but this team is who it is at this point. We could win the NC or we may be out in the next round. You can't trust inconsistent teams.

Maturity, discipline and coaching. All that holds them back. Sure would like to see Amir Williams more. And an actual game plan against the zone. And Buford to not be so God damned lazy with his passing. No excuse for a senior draft pick.

  • Jesus you guys are never satisfied! Zags is a great team and a tough match up for anyone in the tourney. We won and advance to the sweet 16! Knocked down jumpers when they were hot in the first half, guys like Amir Williams came off the bench and played well, Sully was clutch down the stretch, Craft was the best he has been all season. Enjoy the win and stop critiquing/complaining about every little aspect of our game. Here we go now Bucks!!!!!!

I see Scott and Williams maturing. Ravanel plays very hard when he's on the floor as well. Aside from Craft, the biggest contribution was from Williams. All of the sudden with the lane shut down, Gonzaga struggled in the first half and the Bucks reclaimed the lead. If the Bucks go down at the half by 5, it's a different ball game.

We've seen Thad Matta teams execute in the past so it's not Matta. I do wonder what Smith Jr and at times Sully does to warrant so much playing time.

Craft was clutch. Buford was clutch hitting key free throws. Thomas was clutch. Sully was not. Missing a one and one and getting the ball stuffed back in your face was not clutch. He hit the turnaround, but we just don't see the consistency from Sully ever.

I have to agree with most of that. The immaturity/discipline I worry most about is sully and buford. I think dt has come a long way. If Shannon would penetrate more he'd see more pt rather than jump shooting. Yes matta teams have executed before. I just think he always reverts to not trusting his bench and not holding his starters accountable to the game plan. But his team talent level is enough to win most games. Better x and o would make the difference between FF appearances and championships IMO.

Yeah DT deserves more love. He did not jack up shots and played within the offense. For as critical as I am about DT he is playing hard on defense and really working on the glass. I never thought I'd see the day when DT is rebounding and defending better than Sully.

DT has been a monster lately. His defense has been amazing as well. He's truly becoming a force to be reckoned with.
