The future looks bright at OSU

According to the BTN - Ohio State played 12 true freshman last Saturday vs Akron - the 3rd most of any college football team in the country.
I guess this means several things...
We have a very good Freshman class.
We have a coach that is not afraid to play them.
We played an opponent that made it possible to play them.
Suspensions made it necessary to play them.
We should get nothing but better the next few years.

It was a good recuriting story for guys on the line, who have not decided yet..."come with the Buckeyes and play" Also Akron was so bad that they thought of suiting up acopuple of the stout male cheerleaders!

Future will be bright if/when we land consecutive solid OL classes.
You can't fire a cannon out of a canoe.
All the skill position talent and even the D is impacted by Bollman's neglect.
We have a chance to salvage this years OL class (see Diamond, Davidson).
Diddy posits the best chance of that is for Fick to get in front of OL recruits, say Bollman will not be back, we will have a great coach, and drop the depth chart off.

Sadly, it always comes back around to OL recruiting.
Imagine how myped we would be if we had actually landed some of those top flight guys that we have targetted in the last couple of years.
