Still waiting on what your sources are saying about James Ross, Jenkins-Stone, Richardson and the FHH boys? Any chance you also know someone in the Kalis camp, so you can tell us how he isn't interested in Michigan and will be back at OSU shortly?

I may be a known moron with a PhD, but at least I don't try to play message board hero and make up a bunch of info from sources that do not exist.

I never made mention of Jenkins Stone or Richardson to OSU. In fact, I said Cass Tech kids are going to go to UofM, it is the Glenville to UofM. Keep reaching Pinnochio. I did say Ross could end up a Buckeye, in the end, he made a good decison, because with all the young LB talent, he is a special teams player for 2/3 years. Curtis Grant, Sabino and Whiting are MLB the next few years, and Sabino and Grant are way more talented than Ross, their offer sheets proved it and everyone in the country chased them. Same with 2011 OSU commit Shazier. Throw in we land Columbus Nike Camp and Detroit Sound mind defensive MVP Jaylon Smith next year, along with Kimbrough (stud elite) and legacy McCrae, OSU does not miss Ross at all. I stated before Cass Tech is the most overhyped HS and so are their kids because Wilcher knows how to get them recruiting hype. You can have the overrated soft marsh mellows from Cass Tech like Will Campell, his friends and the ones you mentioned above, Cass Tech against any team with talent and physical play gets beat down. Cass Tech players never pan out, congrats, you can have them. Same with FHH and other Michigan kids, Michigan HS football is nowhere near Ohio or Pa, keep pulling them in and becoming MSU.
So get your stories straight. When your done fabricating stuff to defend yourself and your spins, and you bring your only knowledge of college football right from blogs and UofM articles, you can take that Bollman is 9-1 against UofM with his terrible OL recruiting and most times, OSU has gouged Michigan rushing the ball. Do not let facts get in the way.

I'm going to go out on a limb and bet you haven't even watched Magnuson's film.

He has offers from ND, Oklahoma, Stanford, Oregon, etc. All the regional powers out west except USC (who obviously has severely limited numbers). Kozan has an offer from LSU and who else?

I guess you were pretty impressed with Luke Robers offer list as well? I now understand that the offers from the MAC schools and Purdue are what impresses you.

Good luck with that big name hire not named Meyer or Pelini.

Woodson, it's a while til the season starts. So, try not to wear out your welcome. Just saying.

Sorry, I don't speak Buckeye or whatever it is you type. Hopefully someone else can "splain" that to you.

Oh the "michigan man" is here. Douche.

  • Mr. Woodson, Good post. It kills me to think we won't even look at some good kids...just doesn't compute, so hope he works out well for you. These are tough times for us, and of course, you have had yours recently...funny how the pendulum swings sometimes...hopefully, this all helps the rivalry and makes us all better....I for one, have no problem with you posting here, as the coach wanted OSU to look and we were simply not interested, for whatever reason....too bad. Hope the kid doesn't hurt us too badly.

Erik Magnuson is a recent Michigan OL commit from California. Besides his awesome name, the dude can play. His rating varies from #34 overall on Rivals to #85 on 247 to #97 on Scout. MGoBlog's recruiting analyst recently did an interview with his coach. Full interview is here:

    http://mgoblog.com/diaries/tomvh-what-michigan-getting-erik-magnuson

    Most interesting section here:

It was refreshing enough for Magnuson to commit to the Michigan coaching staff in person while on a visit to Ann Arbor. The decision was right for Erik and he knew Michigan was the place for him, even if it was his coach's rival school. "I'm a buckeye fan, I have family back in Ohio and they gave me a hard time about it, but it's all in fun," he said. "I called and emailed Ohio State three times about Erik and didn't hear a single thing back from them. I know sometimes they think West coast kids can't play but they're about to find out on Saturdays," his coach said. Erik was also kind enough to bring a Michigan t-shirt back from his visit for his coach, just in case he wanted to change sides.

I pray for Bollman to stay at OSU as much as all of you prayed for RR to stay at Michigan.

My hate for Bollman increases every day. I can't wait for Duane to read this!

IF you guys manage to steal Kyle Kalis and Jordan Diamond to go with Magnusen you'll have an awesome OL class! The kind that can make you relevant in two years! Thank God your defense still needs some work.

Not sure why you guys are abusing woodson.

Which of you haven't been pissing on Bollman for years? Criticizing the OL recruiting and development? And now you're saying a guy like Magnuson isn't OSU material??? What - he wouldn't reach the lofty level of our 2010 OL recruiting class? I can't even remember their names. What are you smoking?

If Magnuson had committed to OSU instead, you'd be ECSTATIC. And comparing him to Kozan? Did I miss something? Did Bollman even offer him? Has he committed???

Woodson takes alot off abuse on here, but frankly he never sounds like a whiny girl. You guys can't say the same.

OSU recruiting will suck this year. Bollman has sucked EVERY year. Get over it.

it's one of those things where, i can pick on and beat up my little brother, but no one else better freaking touch him!!!

Looking at Magnuson's offer list, not OSU material any ways. Too bad, a kid named Kozan, with a lot better offer list than this kid just camped at OSU and is begging for an offer. He gets one, he is a Buckeye. Same most likely with Nick Davidson. Sorry, try fishing on another board with your desperate post, there is a reason Magnuson did not get a sniff at OSU, he is not OSU material. Elite's like Billy Price, Lovelle Peterson and Lisle stay in Ohio and get the Buckeyes flying out of the gate with OL in 2013 in state as well. When we hire a big name coach after the Big Ten title game, your pety post and false hopes can go out the window with your miserable sports teams. Not returning a call means thanks, but no thanks you are not OSU material. Nice try, your post fit the bill of your sports programs, desperate.

What? lol...did you even bother to look at his offer list? Not OSU material? That is laughable. He is an elite recruit by any measure. Bollman needs to go.

I realize OSU is going through some hard times right now, but think about what you posted?

OSU fans wanted RRod to remain because OSU easily beat UM while he was the coach. That should make sense to you.

You want Bollman to stay at OSU because of the OL even though OSU is 9-1 against UM while he's been in that position and in almost every year the OSU OL has been dominant against UM.

Look at what J Wells, Clarett, Pittman B Wells, Herron, Troy Smith and Pryor has done against UM in the last decade. It all starts up front and now you want that guy to stay?.............Thanks

    OrlandoBuckeye

  • Come on guys, if I were a Michigan fan I would want us to keep Bollman too. He has just provided us with even more evidence of a kid we probably would really want got away.

At the time this kid called, OSU had Kalis, and was in on Dodson (he met with Tress and needed an 18 on his ACT for an offer), plus they had offers to kids like Pirsig (who visited OSU) and Goodman, plus a few others. Boren was in the house, and they know all about legacies like Nick Davidson.
If Ohio State offered every kid that called them or their coach, and it was outside the footprint of their style of recruit, they would not be the elite program they are today.
If OSU did not answer his call, pretty simple, the kid did not meet what they were looking for.
I am not a Bollman defender, but his OL's have destroyed Michigan from the first game in AA as an underdog with Jonathon Wells having a big game. to shredding that overrated 2006 UofM defense to being nice and not scoring 50 or more on UofM last year.
Knowing Peterson, Price and Lisle should be in the bag for 2013 and we still have time to recover this year, plus you could redshirt all the 2011 kids, you go panic elsewhere, not me.

Seriously? Why don't you go get some friends and find your own site, dick head

    +1
I'm sick and tired of coming on Bucknuts and seeing his BS!! I have followed OSU football for 60+ years and am getting sick and tired of seeing his anti Ohio logos, spewings and the attitude of a typical pompuus, arrogant fan. Who gives a F about his rambling detail about roaming thru South America?? Why doen't "the hemroid" go to the "go blow sights" and spread his venom>
I have a short time left on my subscription and yakoffs like him will be one of the mani reasons I won't renew!!

  • I'll take Ohio State's on field results with the recruits we got over Michigan's any day.....when's the last time you guys beat us?

And not that I give a rat's A** about 'upvotes'...but having any for the topic where an arrogance for signing 17 year old kids to a team who hasn't beat us in ten years is pretty pathetic...

Maybe you should recruit a qb who can see over that OL's shoulder pads first......
