I just can't get behind a guy who has started a season and a half at QB. Big numbers against lesser teams, smaller numbers against better teams. He may in fact be very talented, but I just can't stomach a project starting anew at QB. I'm not sure if management has enough time either before pink slips start to go out. We are one year into the McCoy project. Have an offseason with the team in place and see what he can do. If you stink, sell the farm to get Barkley or whoever else you need at QB in 2013.

I go back and forth like the wind on Blackmon vs. Richardson. An intriguing case could be made for either. Something about Richardson just says physical AFC North identity to me. Catches the ball, picks up the blitz, runs like a beast. Floyd, Hill, or Wright with #22. Offensive tackle with #37. If there is any way to trade back 1-3 spots and still get THE guy that you want, then do it so that you can add a DE or DB to bookend with Haden or Sheard. Worst case scenario is that you trade back and both Richardson and Blackmon are gone. Then you snatch up Claiborne and move Sheldon Brown to FS. Heckert would love that move in his heart, but he better get serious compensation is he opens himself up to missing out on both the #1 RB and WR, both of which he desperately needs.
