Tim McVey brother of Scott Mcvey - 7 TD's by halftime!

FYI Tim McVey brother of the past Scott McVey that was a linebacker at OSU for a year before injuring his shoulder rushed for 7 touchdowns IN THE FIRST HALF for St. Ignatious in the Division 1 playoffs last night! He has become the all time TD leader at St Iggy's. I believe he's going to Buffalo. He plays usually the first half of most games because they blow teams out so bad. In My opinion he has better numbers than most of the recruits and plays against better competition. I'm not out there during the camps though just wondering why he never got a look by OSU. Here's a guy that's the all time TD leader from one of the TOP D1 school in the nation.

If that guy is good, I'm hoping that Kent State gets him. Darrell would do good with him.
Edit. I see why he is overlooked. He's only 5'9" 185 lbs. However, he has 4.41 speed. I'm sure the scouts will take a good look at him now.

I have a question that I have been wondering since Scott McVey was under scholarship at OSU. Being from the Dayton area the McVey family was prominent in the Alter football program with several good but not great players that went through Alter with the name McVey. Their father ended up being the brains behind the San Francisco 49ers as the GM during the 80's. I believe one of the McVey kids was the head of a prominent bowl although I forgot which one. It had been mentioned although I don't believe confirmed that the McVey kids showing up at St Ignatious was the offspring. My question is if that is true?

I have seen most Ignatius games this year...if McVey runs a 4.41 I'm married to Scarlett Johansson.
He is a tough little back though, a lot of heart.

I agree he is all heart . I do love to watch him play he has no quit in him . Not big time div. 1 player though .
