Sounds like they are hedging on Quick going elsewhere. That is not good news.

I hope I eat crow on this but I think this kid will end up buried in the depth chart with the way Meyer is recruiting

I see what you are saying, but couldn't we say that about every position? haha ..Urban is a machine when it comes recruiting.
I much rather end up with Corn Elder to play that hybrid wr/rb role, but I am a fan of players who want to be buckeyes and it is obvious that an offer from the buckeyes means a lot to this kid and his film shows he is more than capable.

Say what you will but "the State of Kentucky 100 Meter Champion" can fit very nicely in Coach Meyers Offense. Plus i think he really wants to be a Buckeye!

I am all for offering this kid. He wants to be a Buckeye and we can use that speed at WR. If Quick wants to play for the Big Least championship every year while we are playing for national titles then too bad for him. It sucks he is under so much presure from friends and family but its understandable.

Him being ranked as the 24th running back in the country is a little deceiving due to how little he actually carried the ball in the traditional sense with only 83 carries.

Nice catch, Steve. I hadn't remembered his Fastest Man win at Friday Night Lights. No wonder he rushed for 15.7 yards per carry and 30.4 per catch and scored 42 TDs.
Don't know his 100 time, but it must be stellar to be the 2-time, going-on 3-time, state 100 meters champ. Heck, Kentucky's an SEC state, so his time was probably close to Usain Bolt's best.

26 of those 83 went to the house. He would have had more carries if he didn't score so quickly.

Bill,
Why the lack of offers for this kid? His only big-time offer is Arkansas. He has legit speed and huge numbers regardless of competition. You would think that Louisville and MIZZOU would be offering this kid early.
