Timmons To Finally Get OSU Offer?

You know in a lot of respects TOSU is going to play for National Championships with you or with out you......Make a decision.If you are not looking at the traditional 10-12 schools who have a punchers chance every year to play for the National Chmp. then hey chose from the other 120 + -

The most impressive thing about this young Guy is that he seems to really want to be a Buckeye. The second most impressive thing is his speed. He won the 100 meter title in KY as a Sophomore and Junior. He obviously can play, given his numbers,regardless of the level of competition. I personally prefer this Guy to Quick or Elder because he wants to be a Buckeye and has plenty to offer.

Great news. Timmons scored one TD for every 2.3 touches. His offer list gives pause yet his stats and speed are incredulous. I think he would have broken a national HS record except he didnt have enough carries. Beat Barkers arm with his legs. Nightmare speed w/ good hands. Waycraken and his 11w homies are pumped.

To me it simply looks like they are getting a back-up plan in place. Quick will already have decided by that date. I read nothing into it more than that. I don't see this as a negative towards getting Quick at all.

Possibly yes or no...
otherwise this staff appears to have multiple options regardless of the situation as they really have opened up OSU's recruiting to multiple layers.
I like the aggressive no rest- approach. Keeping fingers crossed with Quick.
They keep grinding out the options even with limited spots.

Bill,You are correct on this aspect....However the thing that must be very important is 4.40...BleacherReport has an excellent Video on Timmons and he JUMPS off the screen..NO WAY can we miss by offering him. I personally LOVE this kid,he just looks like a Gamer and has that IT factor. We shall see...JMO

Coach Meyer is not going to recruit a kid just to use all the scholarships available. If Timmons is a part of this recruiting class, no need to worry about the ones that got away....the potential is there to be developed. It is a reality that some talented players are not bothered by giving up a chance to play for a national championship in order to play for a school near their home. That does not affect the National Championship team being assembled in Columbus. Plenty of talent coming out of high school to get us to the top.
