If someone said that we hire Urb and he gets us in the top 5 or 10 nationally on such a short time frame we would be jumping up and down.

I am so excited and satisfied with this recruiting class regardless if we get one more commitment. We have the kids that stuck with OSU during all of this and didn't flee like some that left for scUM and they have my utmost respect because they wanted to be Buckeyes no matter who the coach was going to be.

We are loaded in Ohio next year and Urb and Company have a full year to get who they want. We now have kids who want to be here and want to be Buckeyes! Enjoy the ride fellas!

My bad. Shouldn't have said bad news. I meant negative post about hearing this and that about people not coming and such. I love to read every post that this site offers. Maybe I shouldn't of posted this. I guess my point was we are blessed to have the staff we have and the commits that have decided to join this great program. For those who choose other wise good luck to you. I hope we kick you ass

So I take it if these kids go elsewhere you won't be saying "Meyer can't close"?

Quiet as kept...we'll be going to war with the 18 returning starters when it's all said and done......of course with a few man child freshmen making impacts here and there ...I'm good where we are..... anything else is a perk!!......We got talent....We got Urban....We got beasts!!...Lets Go Bucks!!!.....Go Hard!!

I havent heard about any OSU kids flipping to go any where else, like the 7 kids that Urban flipped to come here.

Welll looking at recruiting. OSU has 3 DE recruits that could play at almost any school in the country by their Sophomore year. There are on 2 DE positions on the field. Thats means that one may have to switch postions to play or get less playing time. Most recruits feel they can and will play on Sundays and OSU can't get them all. The other schools recruiting the players are giving them the same love OSU coaches are. These are alos 18 year kids that are very impressionable. Just be thankfull for the guys OSU gets and the end I would rather have a less talented guy that wants to be a Buckeye and acts the part then a superstar that really doesn't want to be a Buckeye and became one just cuz it was the thing to do.

Fair point. But the guy went out there and got it done. Last year at this time Hoke was filling up his class with 3*s because of his late start. Urban isn't going to mess around. He has a short time frame as well, but he doesn't settle. He's going after the best of the best and doing a darn fine job of it. 2013 you will see the real magic of the union of Urban and OSU.
