Tressel for AD

With the eminent departure of Mr. Smith, how about Tressel for AD? He still has an enormous following, administration seems to be a forte, and I don't think the 'show cause clause' is applicable.

Yeah, real dumb idea. Do you really want the NCAA to rent office space across the street from Ohio State and watch every move made by every athlete waiting on a violation? Move on from Tressel. It's not happening and he isn't coming back.

No no no no nooooooooooo. Maybe someday down the road, if ever. Why would we put the spotlight back on our program? Move on ... the Tressel era is over and out.

As the biggest Tressel supporter on the face of the earth, I'll say that would be the dumbest idea in the history of that university. I'm not sure I could ever support the OSU administration again if they hired him as the AD, and I love the guy.

i love him too but no way. If we make a move like that we are in a way rewarding him and with what happened it would be a spit in the face to the NCAA. They would be looking to hammer us. We dont need any negative light for a long time. Good luck to Tressel but he will never be back here.
