  • Ezekiel Elliot, under the radar, blows up, and we were in on him before most. Tracy Sprinkle blows up after being under the radar. Paris just runs a 4.42 40 at the age of 15. We need not worry if other teams have offered. Quite the opposite, other teams need to monitor who we offer. We have coaches who know what they are doing, and are thorough. It is good to be a Buckeye!

    Its obviously exciting, but I will reserve final judgment for 2-4 years down the road, when these kids end up with Big Hank, Brad Roby, Ted Ginn Jr, Troy Smith, AJ Hawk etc.. like careers!!

    Right now Bama, UF, Ole Miss etc..feel the same way

    Right now Bama, UF, Ole Miss etc..feel the same way

    Ole miss just took a bunch of 3 stars and added players at the end that were already highly recruited. There is a major difference between discovering talent and getting in on kids at the end. I think the OP was trying to say that our staff seems to he offering kids before they become big time recruits which says a lot about their talent evals.

  • Op made a great point. This staff sees something on film or in a camp and finish it right then and there. Hopefully the rest of cfb is just last to the table and not just offering because urban did.

    Filling needs with great prospects that were previously committed to a school in which something changes counts?.........or new recruits when we find out 1A and 1B go elsewhere and were highly recruited?.... i don't think these are fair characterizations......U have to show 1A and 1B that love, this is why UFM is so successful.....sometimes it is not reciprocated and they must move on....don't penalize the staff because they r like relentless pit bulls ......that is a strength and hardly a representation of an eye for talent
