Future Ohio State safety De’van Bogard from Cleveland Glenville was excited about getting a score of 18 on his ACT and tweeted as much on Monday.

“Ohio State here I come – I’m so excited,” Bogard wrote.

That elicited some criticism from even OSU fans who said that getting an 18 is nothing to brag about.

He's not trying to become the top student grade wise to enter tOSU, he's trying to get into college, mission accomplished! Let's find these stone throwers and see how well they did academically in their college careers. Who amonst us hasn't had a .2 average? Lost a semester of wrestling but met a ton of girls, so get off his back, nobody is gonna ask him his ACT scores when he's making tackles. Besides , isn't it how you do AFTER you get into college that's really important!

By the end of the 2011 season, Roby was already playing at a all-BIG level -- end of story! This young man is also very smart if you will recall his HS GPA. And he has shown the work ethic to not attenuate his growth. If he gives the Bucks 4 yrs, he will go down as one of the great Buckeye DBs. Just sit back and enjoy his performance. One DB spot is well taken care of!
