Anymore insight as to who calls were placed to last night? Dunn, Kozan, and I'm assuming others including those that have already verbally committed. Would be interesting to find out who the others were. Bill Kurelic seemed to be all over it yesterday -- Cudos to Bill for the coverage...

It's about time, let's face it , we're not recruiting these kids to be rocket scientists. so let's level the playing field and get those kids that want to play football and become basket weavers latter in life, the SEC does it all the time , it's the reality of life.

my concern is that there is a correlation with bringing in kids that barely meet the academic requirements and student athletes who have off the field issues. You can't blame a coach when a student athlete makes poor decisions but you can blame him for bringing in questionable characters.

A LOT depends on Coaching UP these young guys. Five stars can be misleading without good Coaching. Mangold was I believe a three star as was some of our others? So yeah if Kalis and others that went to the Big Outhouse do not turn out so great,MAYBE it is the JOKESTER& Co.? No matter tho, the FENCE is fixed and the Urban Express is Rolling!

Green-Beckham huh? I thought that might happen. At least the part of him going after him and trying to lure him in late. Full autonomy to bring any kid he wants to OSU, regardless of HS grades. Thats the part I don't like. No wonder the SEC wins so much. Are we bending too much here, esp after "only" letting JT have a few of these fringe players? Time will tell I guess. Don't get my wrong. Im glad they hired Meyer and Im gonna back him until he shows me reason not too. That being the sticking point scares me a little.

Strobel isnt needed....He's isn't half the player Washington is and wouldn't ever play at OSU with the DEs we have returning. It would be a waste of a scholarship.
