Can you tell me what this ratio means?? Let me help you out.
Red zone scoring is improved and tOSU is carrying a 16 TD to 1FG going through three games. Much better if I say so myself.

That is a pretty crazy stat. I think it shows how talented the combination of these athletes and this scheme are.
The can sputter and stall for an entire quarter but when they get moving or get close to the endzone everything hums in a way I haven't seen it since Troy Smith's senior year.

I hate to see Tressel made fun of. He broguht us some good years here, no matter how much you may dislike his methods. 6 B10 crowns and 9 of 10 Michigan wins are almost unbelieveable. wouldn;t trade those for anything!

i was just messing around, no hate for Tressel here. the way he dominated Michigan and got us into BCS games in what seemed like every year was incredible.

A lot of those TD's have come off of the legs of Braxton, so I'm not sure how much of that is scheme of improvision. And at least one was a stat padding TD at the end of the game where JT takes a knee.

This stat is one of THE most important in football, in my opinion. Even on a psychological level, it's a huge boost to our offense to punch the ball into the end-zone for 6 rather than settle for three. Same goes for the opposing defense..holding a team like tOSU to a field goal in the red-zone is more or less considered a victory.

7 passing , 5 running. Role outs can be by design as I assume you mean the pass completions were because of his legs too.

1-2 against the point spread. Going to be weird seeing these close games with meyer all the time. To be fair though tressel was the best all time against the spread. Not expecting meyer to dominate like that but this has been ugly

Meant to say scheme OR improvision. But yes, mostly his ability to keep plays alive (with his legs). I think those would come under any time of scheme.

To be fair to Meyer Braxton didn't learn shit last year. Like the Boarding House said we really have a freshmen QB playing. If we had a competent staff last year we would be even better on offense. If they let Braxton audible at the line this offense will take off. I also think we are not running plays as fast as Myer would like because Braxton isn't as skilled at running the offense. All of this will improve as the season progresses...bad news for the competition.

My experience is that the right scheme supports improvisation. When you have a talented, raw athlete at QB you have to put him in situations where he has simple choices to make that will help him grow but also let him be successful when things break down. If you do that, then he makes you both look good. If you try and force him into situations where he has to play polished to succeed, then you both look bad.
