USC keeps rolling in recruiting.

  • USC just got a big time commit from Louisville Trinity DE Jason Hatcher, that could help OSU with Quick, both talked about playing together at Louisville and Hatcher is gone out west. Quite a DL haul by USC right now, amongst others.
I keep seeing how easy it is for USC to recruit due to California, well that is 7 elite kids from OOS, and that includes one kid from Washington, Tennessee, Illinois, Texas and Kentucky, and two from Maryland. They are also the odds on favorite to land a big time DB from Arizona as well.
I think USC does well OOS as well, this class is proof in the pudding, not all their elites are California kids, and coming east and going into areas like Texas and pulling kids out ain't that easy, even for USC.
Think we see a lot of USC vs. OSU down the road in bowls, just the way I want it.

Just like Michigan will always suck, Lane will always be an asshole no matter how much he wins.

Maybe...but seems to me quite a few coaches have picked up stigmas that will go with them formthenrest of their lives...

  • You wouldn't even know they're still on probation the way SC is reeling 'em in right now. As you said 83, it isn't like all their recruits are from Cali either. They're literally all over the lower 48 and I'm sure they'd be in Alaska and Hawaii if there were big time players there as well. They have evidently taken the whole scholly limitation thing personally because quite frankly right now, they're shitting on everyone. Including the SEC.

Thankfully they only have one spot left.

Gotta give em credit. Most underestimated thing is the excellent Assistants (esp Daddy Kiffin) and unbeatable weather/babes out here. The reduced recruiting numbers don't bother players as they all believe they are good enough to play and this reduces competition!

  • I don't want to play USC every year bc we will likely play them in the rose bowl... Right in their damn backyard. I would much rather play an sec team in the south rather than have to go across time zones to play USC.

  • I don't care if we play them every year, I love the idea of going to the Rose Bowl, or the NC every year! Will, skill, heart, and I know that UFM is a better coach!
