I still don't get the whole "not wanting to be in his brother's shadow" argument. Rod has barely played any meaningful snaps yet so let's not act like his last name is Griffin, George, or Wells because HE HASN'T EVEN CAST HIS OWN SHADOW YET! In fact, the casual football/Buckeye fan (if there is such a thing) would have no idea they are in fact brothers because Smith is such a common last name and they are on opposite sides of the ball. Did I mention they will only be on the roster together for AT MOST two seasons? I just think the aforementioned line of thinking is a cop out for him trying to legitimize his choice to play for Yesterday U. Maybe he's infatuated with December bowl games? Regardless, with homerism aside, I still see him as part of the Buckeye's 2013 class. We shall see....
