Urban just denied being offered..

During the Nebraska Scum game, Urban just said he has not accepted nor been offered the OSU job...the way he said it, I didn't really buy it though.

Yeah, he looked really uncomfortable when asked. Something is going on, plus he only denied having been offered and accepting, said nothing about not being in talks!

OSU: We don't want to announce anything until after the scUM game out of respect for Luke, maybe later depending on any legally-required posting/interviewing process. That said, if we were to offer you the OSU job on 12/1 and agree to pay you $5.2mil/year with a 7yr contract and agree to pay your assistants whatever you feel right, etc. etc. would you accept that deal?
Urban: Sure.
OSU: Okay, so we agree that you haven't been offered the OSU job and haven't accepted it. And we've got some preliminary posting/interviewing to do on our end. Then we'll meet the night of 12/1 for our lawyers to finalize a contract, offer and acceptance.
Urban: Sounds good.
OSU: So clear your schedule for the evening of 12/1 and all of 12/2...and ask Shelley to do the same. Our jet will be ready to pick you up the night of 12/1 in Florida.
OSU: Is there anything else we need to do...anyone we have to kill before 12/1 to make this dream come true.
Urban: Nope, see you 12/1.

Thad Matta categorically denied having interest in the OSU job while at Xavier. He said it several times in a real short window up to him taking the OSU job. He was probably more believeable than Meyer today.
