AND WE STUDS COMING IN NEXT YEAR TOO.....IN ALL SPORTS...IT'S GOOD TO BE A BUCKEYE!!!!

Glad our wrestling Bucks won! This last recruiting class is really going to make a mark here before it is all said and done.

On a side note, my brother told me that Luke Fickell was there. He said the crowd boo'd him. My brother is a high school wrestling coach and had some of his kids there. I'm disappointed in those who showed their displeasure with fickell. I may be biased because I went to the same school as Luke. In fact, one of my teachers there was his sister. However, Luke is a true buckeye and a proud member of the current coaching staff. Regardless of whether fans think he was a good head coach, he deserves more respect than that. If urban thinks he is worthy to keep around, that is good enough for me. I guess I just expect buckeye fans to show Luke a little more respect than that. Sorry to take away from the thread and great accomplishment of the wrestling team. They deserve all the praise in the world. I'm proud of them and proud to be a buckeye!

I was there, and had no thought of an upset. The team was excited, but far from shocked. Think there were eight frosh and two sophs in line-up. What a future.

I think people were saying "Luuuuuke", not booing. That's what I heard. I thought it was a sign of affection for Fickell.

Very few wrestlers or wrestling fans would ever boo Fickell, he is a wrestling icon.

I was there. Nobody booed Luke. They announced he was there and people cheered. We actually couldn't find him in the crowd. I don't feel he went there trying to steal any spotlight. He loves the sport and was there as a fan. It was a great win.

Thanks for the correction guys. When my brother told me that, something didn't seem right. Glad the fans were chanting "luuuuuuuukkkkeee." It is nice to see the wrestling team do well. With the quality of underclassmen, we should see a great deal of success for years to come. The great thing is, unlike football, no one ever goes pro after their junior year!

This is huge. You have to understand how much work Coach Ryan and Coach Lou have done to get to this point. It has taken extreme effort from all of the coaches and athletes . I couldn't be happier for them. I hope they are feeling the love from Buckeye Nation tonight. You are on your way guys!!!
