If we took every central Ohio kid Meyer could have landed months ago like Ball, we would be done with recruiting already.
We would have a team that would win the Big Ten most years, and not have the athletes to compete with the SEC elites or the USC types with explosive athletes and speed.
We could not only have Ball, we could have had Douglass (PSU), McWilson (Nebraska), McCray, Butt, Charlton and Conley (UofM), plus Jones and Powell of MSU, and those types already in if Meyer and OSU offered early and got those Ohio kids early.
We also would have very few spots left as well for real elite blue chip kids we are after.
Urban Meyer has two BCS titles and dominated the SEC, why don't you let him do his job, I think his record speaks for itself.
OSU has a lot more 2014 offers out earlier as well, they have had time as a staff to get their evaluations done and get offers going, something they got cheated on for 2013 as they tried to close out 2012 and hire coaches as well.
Malik Zaire is another, good solid QB prospect, OSU offers him and goes all out, we get him. Meyer opened his net and landed the #1 dual threat QB in the country in JT Barrett, enough said.
