My take on "oversigning" does not relate as much to signing more kids than the 85 player limit they have for the start of the season(82 for OSU this year), but more to the fact that teams are not supposed to sign over 25 players ANY year. Even at that limit you would be signing 100 guys over a four year span, which is plenty to account for the attrition you normally see. My issue has always been the SEC signs WAY OVER the 25 man limit each year, some years up to 35 players. Urban did not do this at Florida, but many other SEC teams did. That "oversigning" is the psractice that needs to be stopped, but NCAA does not have the guts.
