    Well, final day recruit decisions are different. They involve more limelight, intrigue and showmanship.

    We're all hanging by a partial tweet and a rumor.

    People have agendas. They say things for a reason.

    But I want to suggest, there is a new sheriff in town. Things have changed and we no longer need to expect to lose.

    I doubt we get all that we hope for because the final kids are the toughest nuts to crack but we'll get more than our share.

    Don't mind your thread at all as I believe it was just meant for conversation, especially your mention about the excitement for the coming 2013 class. Based on this thread, we should change our name from "Buckeyes" to "Wolf Pack".

    We as a fanbase ought to be excited about what Meyer just accomplished. Even if we don't get another commit...so what. Next year with 22 scholarships we will have the #1 class.

    Cox is not that big of a loss. Right now I would love to get Dodson, Reeves, and a playmaker on offense.

    But I want to see how this all shakes out. I think Urban is going to get a few, surprise, all while he's plowing some serious corn for '13.

  • I have no problem with Goby's post. But this thread should serve as an exercise in effective communication skills. We saw this earlier from a thread on Dodson. People post with good intentions, but haven't the first clue as to how the reader is receiving the post. So there should be little surprise when people react harshly. Not that their reaction is acceptable. Just that humanity tends to react in this capacity.

    Also, goby, in the future avoid any mention of politics or political affiliation. It should simply not be tolerated on this board. People will not react favorably to it. Not that there is anything wrong with having these beliefs. Its just that threads go to a dark place if its allowed.
