What I would do with Josh Perry

With all the great LB's we have in this class, I would love to see him play Tight End in the Meyer offense. If you liked Jamal Marcus's film then check out Josh Perry's offensive film, he is a monster with the ball in his hands and fast! I think he could be similar to Aaron Hernandez with his athleticism. And, being a legit 6'4, he could redshirt and maybe get in the 250 range the following year and be our most athletic tight end.
Here is a link to his senior year tape- I can imagine what happens at 1:15 happening a lot as a tight end for OSU. (also, check the speed at 2:26.

Wrote the same thing in a couple other threads. He could play like the Patriots use Hernandez.
They line him up at TE sometimes and other formations have him in the backfield where he cam either run the ball or go out for a pass. Real confusing for the opponents defense.

Since we ended up with a great LB/DL class I would like to see Perry get a shot on offense. I like the Hernandez comparison and see a similar player.

Could be awesome TE or rec. Linebacker don't know that much based on film. Runs a 4.6 however his football speed is better than that

Kid is an athlete. Very competitive in the 200 meter dash, and I believe made state in long jump. Very impressive for such a big kid.
