    I know I'm going to get slaughtered for this but sooner or later we are going to have to question Matta's in-game adjustments. I just don't see why Thompson and Williams play more then Ross and Ravenel.

    That's because you're looking at from your sofa and Matta's looking at from the bench.

    I wouldn't trade Coach Matta for any other coach. He is doing very well at a football first school. On the other hand we have missed out on some players recently, from Ohio. Trey Burke and Payne at MSU. I thought we cooled it on Payne because of emotional problems. You can't tell me you would take Scott over Burke. Scott will probably be around for 4 years, that is a good thing. Burke is most likely done!!

    Burke developed late, after his final year of AAU ball. By that time it was too late for OSU; they were already committed to Scott.

    OSU backed off of Payne after he made it clear he was going to MSU and there was nothing the Staff could do to change his mind.

    Evaluating the potential of 14, 15 and 16 year old boys is tough.
