Where Do Indians And Reds Finish This Season?

  • What place do you see the Reds and Indians finishing in this season? Do either or both make the playoffs?

    Bill Kurelic

  • Reds win the Central

  • Wow, good question.

I'm not an Indians fans but I'd think with Detroit in that division it might be tough for them to win it.

As far as the Reds, I was fairly optimistic going into spring training, but losing Madson for the year REALLY hurts, IMO. There are still some other question marks as well. I don't know that I would pick the Reds to win their division either, to be honest.

The reds have the best offense in the division along with 2 top of the rotation starters in Cueto and Latos to match Carpenter and Wainwright. Marshall was a better option for a closer before Madson got hurt. The loss of Fielder and Pujos from our toughest competition only makes it that much more likely that we take the division. No way either team can replace those 2 guys.

Hopefully you're right. I guess the last 20 years have made me skeptical. panic

Heh, I am right there with you but at least Bob has shown willingness to try to win unlike the other idiot owner in the Nati who just happens to luck into a season here or there.

  • Reds will win the central and be bounced by San Francisco in NLCS. Indians will be in fourth in AL Central

  • Well I'm not a reds fan but they are a very good team and will finish 2nd and make playoffs as wild card as for the the Indians I'm a die hard fan well I honestly think they will be better then people think but still they finish 3rd like 8 games out of first well anyway good luck reds fans and go indians

  • Bill- Indians will finish last. Still disgusted by the Jimenez deal. Pomeranz and White will be front of the rotations guys. Look at what's going on with this guy. Damaged goods and the Indians fell for it. I have lost faith.
