I will NOT credit him like he won a National Title because we didn't; we can't play for it and are ineligible.

However, that's not to say he hasn't done some amazing and special considering how bad they were all of last year. Meyer deserves all the credit because had this team failed he would've gotten all the blame.

I also feel that while credit should not be given for a National Title, credit and respect should be given Nationally in proportion to wherever our final rank is. Meaning everyone should give the deserved credit and respect to this team if they finish 1, 2 ,3 or 4.

I want the national respect for tOSU to return. I know we ain't been pretty but we also haven't lost; that MUST count for something.

Even if, by some fluke, they are voted the AP champ, I will not consider this team to be the national champions, though no doubt the trophy would be proudly displayed at the WHAC. (Trophy's are for people with self-esteem issues. ;-)

This has been a great year: Meyer and Herman and Fickell have done a great job getting the team ready to play, and the players have done a great job of staying tough in each and every game.

But they have strugged with a lot of nobody's and haven't beaten anybody that was any good. The only aspect of this team that is comparable to the 2002 team is their toughness.

The only thing that could change my mind on this is if the B1G goes out and has a great bowl season.

More impressive than '02? That's absurd. The scholly reductions don't remotely affect this team.

This schedule (and team, frankly) don't hold a candle to that 02 team. Can't believe anyone would even compare the two at all.

Meyer gets credit for a good season, navigating one of the easiest schedules Ohio state has ever had, with an extremely flawed team. It's nice, but I'm looking forward to much better teams and seasons than this one.

More impressive than 02... My god that is completely ridiculous. That team beat one of the greatest collections of talent in modern Cfb history. Who has this team beat? Seriously, they have not beat anyone worth remembering. How is that impressive? The only thing the sanctions did to this team was stop them from playing an opponant worth noting.

Hell no! We have to win our NC on the field. Let's move on.......

Because anybody that thinks this season is more impressive than 2002 should be banned for shear stupidity.
If I were the Moderator for 1 week I would clean this place up and make it a better place.
Just like there are JUCO' for non-academic qualifiers theri are other boards for the wek posters.

I don't know how to explain it any more clearly.

We will not have beaten a team with fewer than 4 losses when it is all said and done.

It is the worst sked in modern OSU history.

We will not have beatean a dynasty on 34 game winning streak to cap it off.
