Edit: I posted this well before the clutch 3 he hit, so take it easy.
He is turning the ball over and still isn't able to knock down a wide open shot. He's soft. I usually don't bash and I have always been an apologist but enough is enough!
Edit: I knew someone would bring this up again. He was clutch and played great tonight. Still need to see more consistency. Great game, Will!

Pretty much the same story every game with him. It's turning into a season-long slump with him.

I agree, sometimes you need to sit someone down just to let them watch the game for a while, plus maybe wake them up.
I would give Thompson a few more minutes for Buford, send a message.

Another missed shot by Buford, where we could have went up 9. Sit Buford for a few minutes, he is killing us today.

and people used to think he was a first round draft choice. There is something about his game that i cannot stand. I think its because we have possessions where as soon as he catches it he has his mind made up that he's going to get a shot off and doesn't care whats going on around him, nothing is stopping him from jacking it up.

I'd say keep shooting, but he's not getting out if it. Now it looks like he thinks he needs to keep shooting.

I'd really consider cutting his minutes the rest of the season, or have him come off the bench in a sixth man role.

3 pointer and two free throws in the last 90 seconds and good defense. Was not a good game for him but he found a way to take over when needed most.

The announcers , One of which is Dan(The Dick) Dockich said that he thinks that he is doing the rest of the Bucks games till the end. He mentioned that it might be bad news!! I agree!! He is an Indiana Homer and Homo and watches the game and you can tell he is rooting for anyone but the Good guys. I agreed with one statement that he said and it was so ovious that he could not go the other way. I might have to watch the rest of the games with the sound down. GO BUCKS!!!!

Just curious, who would you start in his place from our bench? Sam Thompson makes some highlight reel plays, but in no way is he a better player than Buford. Amir Williams isn't ready to start yet. Ravenel (sp?) has a limited skill set. Wouldn't start Scott because we would have 2 PGs on the floor with him and Craft.
Has Buford been down lately? Yes, absolutely. But at the same time he is our most experienced player and he will bounce back, mark my words.

100% accurate. He did come up big at the end with the 3 and free throws...just don't understand how he continues to shrivel up on the road in big games. He's got too much talent but not enough in the male department or the heart.

Well Buford stepped up late with a dagger 3 pointer and two free throws, give him credit in crunch time, I am!
Gasser killed us last year, Buford just shut his ass down and lived in his back pocket, great defense by William and rebounding.
Buford will get out of this offensive funk and get his stride back, he is too good.
His defense has been stellar, as has his rebounding.

Booford was 4-15 from the field; 1-4 from 3's; 3 turnovers. His worst season. He's a senior, no reason he should be playing like that. If he doesn't step his game up, we could be a hurtin' come tourney time.
Always borrow money from a pessimist; he won't expect it back.

There's no doubt that Buford has been struggling for weeks but I want him on the court. He's not moping, he hasn't quit. He's still competing - defending, rebounding, looking for his shot.
Let's hope he shoots himself out of this slump.
