Disappointing weekend. Still in the hunt but no verbals and EzE's visit to Mizzou, make the weekend a big turd so far.
At least Spalding hasn't started with the embarrassing tweets.

Ugh. Damn I was really hoping to do the banana dance with a commitment this weekend. You've gotta think we're going to get al least one of the prospects remaining. Long, long 9 days til signing day.

And scum got derrick green the number 1 rb in the nation who wants nothing more than to stick it to OSU... the bright spot is james clark, wish he would have committed though....

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to get both Wilson and Clark...but I really want to keep EZE in the fold. We all knew Mizzou would roll out the red carpet but the fact that he came out and said he didn't want to do any interviews today doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

No recruit, coach, recruiter, or reporter has ever confirmed that these are real. It's pure message board jargon to make posters feel more knowledgeable about the recruitment of a human being they don't even know.
We are a little over a week away from NSD... A "silent" verbal is useless. Had we landed Clark and Wilson this weekend, coaches could have told other kids that there likely wont be room for them and not have wasted anymore time on other possible recruits.
We haven't had to deal with that unreal term in a long-term, please don't go there. There is no such thing!

We Bucknuts members get understandably disappointed when recruiting weekends like this do not go as we would like. However, imagine what it must be like for the coaches who are traveling all over the country to recruit these guys and have to deal with this ! It must be very frustrating at times.
In any case, I have complete trust in Meyer and his staff to make the best effort to get commitments from the recruits they really want to get. On the other hand, It's also important for the recruits to do due diligence and make sure that they commit to the program that is best suited for them.
All we can do now is to wait and watch how it all plays out with full confidence that the coaches are most assuredly doing their best.

WE at Bucknuts ARE spoiled! We have the best TWO staffs-Bucknuts & tOSU. Be patient, any news comes out The Bucknuts Staff will be all over it. URB gets 'em in and signed and Bucknuts will let us know ASAP. JMHO
