We are a little over a week away from NSD... A "silent" verbal is useless. Had we landed Clark and Wilson this weekend, coaches could have told other kids that there likely wont be room for them and not have wasted anymore time on other possible recruits.
We haven't had to deal with that unreal term in a long-term, please don't go there. There is no such thing!

Some kids have said for a long time they will announce on NSD. It would not be out of the question for them to promise the coaches they will commit that day. Let's see who gets slow-played from here on out. A silent verbal isn't some sort of conspiracy, but perhaps a good faith effort between the kid and the staff to agree to allow the kid to do what he has told his buddies and his school he was going to do forever. So now he's just going to blurt it out? Perhaps the school has enough signees to have an assembly for all of them. Schools have been known to do that...... to show how proud they are... you know....

could not agree with you more, I would be fine with what we have right now. I would love to add bell to this class, but to whine about missing out on a reciever is crazy. guys, look at what we have in this class so far, then look at 2014, you wont be disappointed. we have the best class in the country,from top to bottom. any school ranked ahead of us does so based on sheer numbers. so bummed I am not.

hey retard, first off, it would be a good idea for you to learn how to spell, if you are going to try to insult my intelligence, or to call someone dishonest for stating their opinion. 2nd a lot of recruiting sites would agree with me. rivals has us currently ranked at #4 with the other schools ahead of us based on sheer class size. scout #4 again look at the number of recruits the schools ahead of us have. do I need to go on? or maybe, I should stop here in case you can only comprehend short sentences since your spelling is not quite up to snuff.
