  • Worst defense? Roby and our DL are excellent. Worst collection of LBs and Safeties I've ever seen. Don't believe the counterfactual history others are telling you. There is a talent gap on this team. We saw it today. LBs and safeties are awful.

    That's what I am saying. I specifcally said tacking...ie linebackers and safeties. I love the team and the D line. I am just not seeing improvements on fundamentals. I am happy we won, i love the offense. Love heart. I am simply asking why we are still tackling like a high school team.

    And you think they are better this year? They weren't this poor at tackling last year. They just didn't have any leadership last year and it was a "do over." This year is different.

    Actually, this year's defense gave up more points to Nebraska than last year's defense. Just sayin'. Not necessarily agreeing, just an interesting fact. Also, gave up more to MSU than last year's defense. I guess facts are facts.

    Still, WAY TO GO BUCKS!!!!!!!

    Coaches can't change their talent once the season starts. We hope some of the freshman can step in. Until then, we live with a mixture of brilliance (Roby & D-Line) and incompetence (LB & S).

    Be glad we have an offense and another strong group of recruits coming in. Enjoy the roller coaster!
