Would you change the uniform?

Now let me first say I am a traditionalist at heart. I LOVE the Buckeye uniform and I hope it never changes....but...do you want it to? Maybe a lot? Maybe just a little? When Tress came to OSU I thought, just maybe, that he would do something for a game here and there. I'm not talking about throwback. When he took over at YSU he made some changes.
So here are just a couple to get it started? How about when Nebraska comes to town we come out in Black pants with two silver stripes and a scarlet stripe inbetween. Jerseys....BLACK jersey's (SHIRTS) of course with Scarlet and silver stripes on the sleeves and silver numbers outlined in scarlet? Scarlet pants with silver, white, black to go with the scarlet jerseys and what the heck...scarlet shoes as well? Up or down votes no one cares, would you make the move?

The OSU uniforms have always changed. However, I am not sure if I like the type of changes that you are proposing.

This is at least the third time I've posted this on one of these uni threads but we have THE BEST uniforms in CFB and we should leave them the hell alone. Stop playing the sports marketing game to make money for NIKE.

I liked the old unies with the larger numbers.Us old folks don't see as well from our loge boxes,I gots to watch the game on a big screen,if I want to see what's a goin' on.

I say keep them the same with a minor tweak. Add in a lil grey to the jerseys. For a combat uni I say black with scarlet and Grey put into it with our normal helmets.

Put the grey stripe back on the sleeve. Never wear a cash grab uniform ever again for the last game of the season.

I like our uniforms but hell its 2012! I want to see a primarily black, gray, and white uniform, with all the trimmings and some different helmets. I think what Oregon does is very hot. Who cares about who is making money off of it. If you owned Nike or whatever business it is, you'd enjoy making more money also stop being hating on Nike for doing what all business owners aim to do.
I like what Okie State, Baylor, and Arizona St. have done with their uniforms the last year or so. Its innovative and players like that kind of stuff. Not to mention, they are the ones who actually wear it!

I do also like the one game a year, of throwbacks.

Yup. I always laugh when "traditionalists" get mad about changing the jersey not realizing the jersey has been changed numerous times throughout our history. If it happens, I'll keep on rooting. I care more about the on field product than our fashion.

I think once a year is fine. But nothing more then that. Oregon is obnoxious. Although those chrome helmets fromt he Rose Bowl were sick!
If anything, I would mix in those camo helmets we did for spring practice last year. Those were flat out ridiculously awesome.

I like the glittery pants we used to wear. I don't mind gray if it isn't the dominant color but seeing the pants in football and the gray basketball uniforms just don't do anything for me. IMHO I think it looks to much like primer. I hate to knock their uniforms at all but I can do without the gray.
