The biggest surprise for me was that Loyola didn't figure out you have to make Deshaun go right. Did they not bother to do any scouting.

The lack of surprises. Yes a 12 seed won, but they were a final four team last year who beat the same team this year and last. Also UNLV lost to Colorado but when that is the big surprise then there are issues. WVU and UConn not showing up and South Flordia looking so good were the others.

That game was ugly. I watched it as well. Thank you Tivo. I live in Vegas and people here have been talking about the "return of rebels" for a week.
Someone messed up the seeding. Colorado was either vastly under rated.....or UNLV was way over rated for the seed they drew. It wasn't a game where one team just had a bad night. UNLV just flat out couldn't play with these guys. The talent was not there and it showed by being worked from the tip off to the final buzzer. This game was NEVER in doubt. Colorado should not have been seeded the way they were. UNLV got ambushed.

To this point both Missouri and Duke falling in their first game. Especially Duke having the advantage of playing a "home" game. However the "sleeper" of the tournament may provide some surprises and I see that "sleeper" being Marquette.

As I said, a day later, Mizzou and Duke have to be the biggest surprises.
