    Yesterday when i started this thread it was to follow up on several other threads concerning this matter. It had no racial statements in it. It simply stated a fact. Other than a few silly remarks it actually started out pretty well. THE main opposer of this thread asked me if i was black after i commented on his "i could care less" response, as if ONLY a black person could care about this unfortunate case, I admitted i indeed was black and later stated that i believed that Zimmerman needed to stand trial. REVERSE RACISM was claimed. Is it racist for a black man to want justice in this matter? NO!!!! As a matter of fact i am far from it! During my mostly comical banter with this fellow Bucknuter, which i found myself alot of times laughing out loud, i was asked why i cared so much. In this particular case the question should be why would anyone care so little. To be honest if ANYONE thinks that a member of a certain race doesnt pay added attention when an injustice is done to a member of his/her race is just unrealistic! IN ANY CASE EVEYONE SHOULD CARE ABOUT SITUATIONS LIKE THESE, THEN MAYBE MY PREVIOUS SENTENCE WOULDNT BE AS TRUE! Then Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, & Rush Linbaugh wouldnt be pissin the other races off all the time....LOL

  • For those who think they can justify Zimmy's actions, good luck to you in life, because if it were you're son who got shit and killed in that fashion, you wouldn't be so ok with this. You'd be pissed! if you are really on the side of justice then put yourself in his parents shoes and ask yourself "why was my son just shot and killed for walking down a street not bothering anyone?" And if you are ok with the man who did it walking away scott free on some BS self defense story then I will honestly believe everything you say. This man started a confrontation, then claimed self defense, that is laughable. As Dave said, this isn't even a case.... The boy never said a single word to him, so why did he stalk him? If a strange man was stalking you down the street as you are walking what you do? I personally might run but I do know I can't outrun a gun so I might have to confront him and ask him what the hell he needs. If take a swing, it was self defense because he was stalking me. In my opinion, the boy had all the right to beat his ass if he indeed did so because he was being stalked. He was protecting himself assuming he did. But we don't really know at this point. We'll find out who is really screaming for their life in that 911 video, and when that lady who made the 911 call gets called to the stand.

    I think there are PLENTY of white people who do not want unarmed teenagers (of any race) stalked, confronted, and subsequently killed.
