Maybe this is just crazy talk but what about Larry Kehres from Mount Union in Ohio. I mean we struck gold with a no name coach at the time we hired in Jim Tressel, why not this guy. He has a 92.6% winning percentage in his 26 yrs. there. I dont care what level you are at thats impressive. He's 305-23-3. He's also got 10 D-III national championships with 14 appearances. What say you?

Mike Leach with Ohio State's defense wins 'multiple' national championships. Anyone who has listened to his Sirius Radio show knows what an intelligent and knowledgeable football mind he is. They would also know he absolutely 'loathes' espn (that wins him 90% of the votes from this crowd) and his approach and dedication to the game of cfb is perhaps incomparable. He could make a heisman candidate out of Joe Bauserman.
Ok yes..I'm nominating Mike Leach...anyone who just wants to make some off cuff comment about Texas Tech and a gimmicky offense..spare me..you haven't read anything about Mike Leach then. I suggest do some research first, then comment on his qualifications.

yeah..I know..500+ yards of offense per game for 8 years in a row is a little too much for an OSU fan to wrap their heads around....especially after a 35 yard per game passing performance...nevermind..Oklahoma should have stayed with thier wishbone attack as well...they are so 'soft' now with a leach-style offense.

Anybody who foists Mike Leach on the board should be banned.
It would indicate you don't understand the interdependance of offense/defense/special teams. And care more about cool offensive stats then winning.
Our offensive #'s would improve, that would be cool for some of you. Our defense would become unrecognizable.
How stupid must you people be to think that our defensive production would magically be the same with some gay a**-ed version of the offense Leach runs.
That type of offense should be reserved for the Purdues of the world.
Our offense needs a massive overhaul in terms of assistant coaches. Bollman, Sis, Doc all couldn't get another d1 gig.
But the base offense should always be power based at OSU. Even Urban Meyters spread had power elements.
