Haven't seen the original comments, but the SEC never has been comfortable coming north. Perhaps seeing the once incredible futility of Florida pro teams (especially Tampa Bay) making the up-map trek. B1G Ten stadiums are bigger (generally) and the conditions towards the end of the year are exactly counter to the types of schemes and athletes they assemble. Frankly, that the B1G Ten has any success at all in bowl games is completely counterintuitive. However, there ought to be more B1G Ten/SEC games up north in the mild pre-conference season (and, frankly, a few late season games sprinkled in as nothing would be more fun than to see OSU play LSU at the end of November in the 'Shoe). And I'm sure Wisky wouldn't mind a home and home arrangement with Alabama when the darkening days of oncoming winter would be broken by a trip south (and the joy of watching the Tide freeze over the following year).

They might not have a choice on the matter. Its gonna be a bid out process and if places like Indy or Detroit or what not win the bid, they get the game. You think a Playoff game in NY wouldn't be huge. Just wait when the superbowl gets played there and they rake in more money then god. A northern trip of playoff games is more then likely to happen.
