why so many michigan fans in cincinnati?

was down there recently for the first time and couldnt believe how many michigan fans i saw there. whats wrong with those people?

There is not a big Michigan following in Cincinnati. When you go to sports bars there are more OSU fans than any other team, and that includes the University of Clifton Bearcats. So typical of some OSU fans to slam Cincinnati.

I grew up in the Cincinnati area and there seems to be a pretty good mix when it comes to supporting collegiate athletics in southwestern Ohio. There seem to be less Buckeye fans than there are Buckeye haters. These mostly include Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and Michigan supporters but also include Kentucky and Xavier supporters as Ohio State basketball has improved in recent years. This seems to be the reason that Ohio State recruiting has not been as strong in Cincinnati as it has been in northern Ohio in recent years. OSU has been able to land Washington and Norwell the past couple years, but missed out on some serious talent to other football powers.

I agree with you. Now, anyway. 15 years ago I woulda bet it was 50-50 or even the other way. Bunch of idiots--"we're so close to Ann Arbor. Why would you follow Ohio St?"

'Cos Cincinnati is deranged. It's either UK; ND or tTUN fans with some Buckeyes sprinkled in. Somehow, there's a few people who were raised right to be Buckeyes. I mean, I guess you can see some Ohioans being scUM fans, I'm quite sure there's Michigan bred people who grew up Buckeye fans. But Kentucky? Yikes! Odor Lame? Hasn't been relevant since 1994. They are Catholic though, I guess the religious aspect outweighs the complete suckiness that ND is.
Cincy is known as thee most unfriendly Buckeye town in the state of Ohio. You'll find some real true Buckeyes like Adolphus, DeVier & properly raised fans.
