As for Carlos Hyde, I've never quite figured out the kid. He's big and fast and has all the attributes you would want in a RB. But he seemingly runs soft, goes down easily, and doesn't really run like a power back should. I want to see him start running over people and falling forward, like a power back should. When we recruited him, I thought he would be the next great RB here, but he hasn't lived up to it thus far. I hope he turns it around this year.

Hard to say Hyde was soft when he averaged over 5 yards per carry.
