Adams better than Khalil ??

  • I just heard one of the analyst on NFL network say that take the off-field issues out of the equations & mike adams is better than Khalil. A real steal for the steelers, what do you guys think?

    That person is a moran. Could end up being a steel for them but the key word is could. Not better than Khalil. IMO

    I guess he could be, it's not for lack of physical ability. It's more of want to. His actions have suggested he hasn't wanted it, his words of late and deferring the signing bonus means he has dedicated hisself. I hope he succeeds and wish him the best!

  • I think Mike can be a good NFL tackle...it's funny ghBuck how Micheal Floyd has 3 alcohol related cases and he is a 1st rounder, but don't smoke that pot. It was very dumb for him to smoke when he knew testing was coming no doubt, just saying it was that decision making that made teams hesitate. Personally, don't care what workers or players do in their private time, just show up prepared and work hard.

    Yes the positive test hurt his stock as well as the 2 he failed as a freshman, but what hurt him most was lying to all 32 teams at the combine during the interview's. When they asked, " when was the last time you smoked?"

    We shall see with coaching considering he was coached by Bollman but I am glad the Steelers drafted so my Bengals d-line can run over him.LOL!

    Don't play to much into this character issue deal. ESPN and NFL network always say this is improtant but not really. It's about what you can do on the field- that's it. Look at this Jenkins kid. Had an issue with weed and was suspended. Came back and then had another issue and was then kick off the Florida team. Transferred to some North Alabama. Still has issues with the mary-jane but also has 4 kids as well. All I heard from the last week is how his character has hurt his draft situation. NOT. He still got drafted #7 pick in the 2nd round. Same with Pacman jones, I am waiting until some team picks up Burfect (ASU). They say he is such a mess, that he might not be drafted. Someone will pick him up- why. Because it's not about character, it's about winning.

    I read some where that the reason the NFL doesn't like pot smoking is that the smokers become non aggressive. I never thought about it the herb does increase breast size etc I will have to research it some, but if true I can see why football teams would not want you partaking. shrug

    Still my team and if your counting on Adams to protect Ben good luck. Don't count out the Bengals considering this draft they just had which was by far (experts) the best draft in the NFL.

    By the way the Bengals finished 7th in the league on defense and just got better.
