I couldn't get it out of my head that we somehow left too much time on the clock. Paranoid I suppose, but if we had lost I'm pretty sure I would have jumped out the window cuz of temporary insanity. Thank god we won and I live in a ranch and not a two story.
UFM- His words carry weight that would break a less
interesting mans jaw
Yep, weird how 1:20 seems like no time on the clock when Ohio State had it, and .20 seemed like an eternity when Wisconsin did. I think all the rollercoaster moments of the last 4 minutes added to the stress of something stupid possibly happening too.
I was nervous right up to the point I saw sweat hit R. Wilson's arm and the ball flopping to the ground.
To answer your question, YES!
Yeah, I was nervous considering the blown coverage on the previous Wisky TD.
i was nervous at half time...very nervous at the start of the 4th quarter...even with the lead and the running game looking solid i said i'd be shocked if osu would hold on and if we do come out with a win it'll be b/c the players are doing things not designed by the coaching staff
Nervous, no. Upset that OSU had somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, yes. The continued ( though not unexpected) offensive malaise and the 2nd MAJOR defensive collapse of the year is frustrating.
I have to admit that I am surprised that OSU won this game with the extremely poor passing game.
With this team im still nervous that wisc. can come back lol!
Of course. This isn't our secondary of old. This one has at times shown the inability to either break up a pass or most especially take the ball away from opposing receivers, so I definitely was. Not to mention the fact that their O-line had each of our D-linemen covered throughout most of the game, thus preventing them from getting to Wilson more.
We were up against a highly efficient and productive offense that plays til the final whistle. And it was their plan to do to us what had been done to them just the week before on the last play of the game.
yeah i was nervous, but our secondary is actually pretty good, give Wisky some credit, they didnt give up and thet wasn't looking deep at the 20 sec. mark and that would've been a Hail Mary to beat the Bux
I was nervous but never more nervous than I was with :00 on the clock and a free untimed play. I thought, "Oh, God, the Fickell finger of fate is going to have the last laugh on us."
