  • I think the important thing to note is that he is a coaching asst and NOT an asst coach.

In their media guide he is listed under "Team Support" along with the cheerleading coordinator, the person in charge of JungleVision (I guess that's their big screen?), public address announcers and all the other key people within the organization.

  • Great. Now he carry Andy Dalton's bags since that's all he seemed to be good for as QBC at OSU.

That makes a lot more sense.

  • Well, I guess he can now go back to what he is truly qualified for.....loading the tapes in the VCR the for real coaches. Yes, I do know that most teams use much more advanced technology today, but remember, THIS IS the Bengals. Hell, Mike Brown might still have them using silent, black & white, 8mm reel tapes shot by his daughter-n-law. Perhaps they could let Nick mop up the locker room and clean the toilets too!

    +1
That's what I had figured when reading this. I almost wonder if Tressel may have made a call for him to the Bengals staff. Even as a doorman I would think that would be a stretch of a hire without someone big putting in a good word for you.
