Boom Herron: 4.65 40

Boom was never going to be a speed merchant, but this must be kinda disappointing. Assuming he is going to run again at the OSU Pro day.

I predict a 4.53 at pro day. He stumbled coming off the line on the first run and just looked sort of nervous on the second.

Don't disagree. Despite his production at OSU, guys like him are a dime a dozen in the NFL. I don't mean to insult Boom, but his game sort of reminds me of a certain unnamed big mouthed RB who played on a team up north a few years ago. Small and slow who despite good college production, flamed out pretty quickly in the NFL.

He'll be a late rounder. Some rate him as high as a 4th or 5th rounder. I'd say 6th right now, but he could be hurt or helped with his pro day and interviews.

tough, strong, reads holes, great cut back runner. he'll go somewhere like pitt, washington, or denver and be just fine

Considering a couple O Line guys ran around 4.7 4.8 Boom draft stock went from 6-7 to free agent

He is going to need to run much better at pro day. I think he will shave some time off and get drafted late as a poor man's Mark Ingram. He runs pretty hard and is pretty strong for his size.

I just don't think Boom is cut out to be a RB in the league. The kid is all heart, plays his ass off. But you do have to have a high level of talent to play in the NFL, and I just don't see it in Boom. Hope I'm wrong.
