Chad +1, I sure have made mistakes. Great post man. Real men admit when they are wrong. Cowards always point the finger at someone else. I've never seen Tressel point the finger at anyone. He took his punishment and moved on. Tressel will always be a class act IMO.

Thanks Coach Tressel for the greatest era of Buckeye football I've ever witnessed.
I became a fan in about 1979-1980. My first Buckeye memory was the Rose Bowl
loss to USC where Charles White gained about 250 yards on the undefeated Buckeyes
and cost us the national title. I have been hooked ever since then.

I watched the Earle Bruce era, and the Cooper era. I like both of them and think
they are both good coaches, but Tressel was the right guy at the right time
for our program. We are reloading quickly under Urban, and that speaks volumes
to what Tressel re-invigorated during his time at Ohio State. We were repeatedly
in the national discussion, and we just about clownstomped Michigan into oblivion, so
much so that people on our own board felt sorry for them.

He made a mistake and paid appropriately. But this video reminds me of what
he brought to our program during his 10 years, and I loved the ride.

Thank you Coach Tressel for what you did for our program and for
our student-athletes. Mistake aside, I am convinced beyond any doubt
that the young men who played for Jim Tressel are substantially
better for that experience.

I know we have Urban Meyer now, but damn I miss Jim Tressell. We as Buckeye Nation owe him a great deal of gratitude. Thanks Coach Tressell for everything!! History will remember you as one of the greatest ever!!!

What a great video of Coach Tress and his players. I could not be happier with Coach Meyer at the helm but I will always miss Coach Tress and will always have a sad regret over how his career ended with the Buckeyes. 10 years is a long run as a headcoach and coach Tress was a winner not only on the field but off of it as well. I believe he is one of the best coaches of young men in football history and many former players benefited from having him to shape and mold into men on and off the field. Thank you coach Tress for 10 of the greatest years in college football that I will never forget!
