I am curious to see who paid the bond.
Bonds paid of $65000, 60000, 60000, and 5000
Curious to see what slap of the wrist the university gives them or will they be removed from the team.
A former five-star recruit for the Crimson Tide was arrested for the second time in two days and was among four freshmen who face charges of second-degree robbery or fraudulent use of a credit card stemming from Monday arrests.
Future business leaders of america
They are having one hell of an off-season.
More space on that roster, for the 37 new freshmen recruits.
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
Just another way Saban makes room for his over signing .
yeah but it may have cost their team 190,000 or a couple of boosters that much money. I am all for it
I don't see a problem as long as they didn't use the card for free tats.
+1 well done
"The young men charged are indefinitely suspended as we continue to gather information and talk to the appropriate people," coach Nick Saban said in a statement released by the Alabama athletic department. "The university and football program have strict guidelines regarding issues of this magnitude. This behavior is unacceptable for any student-athlete at the University of Alabama and not representative of our football program."
I will translate this for Saban.
“These young men charged will be cleared to play as soon as our boosters pay off the necessary authorities involved. “Saban says in statement to the Alabama athletic department. “Alabama football players are above the rule of normal guidelines that the normal student receives and we do not enforce these laws to our athletes. This behavior is not out of the normal for our football team and normally does not get leaked out to the University of Alabama. Expect the players to be ready to go for summer work outs. Roll Damn Tide.”

"Parole Tide", you're killing me.
Well played Bearbuck!

Yes, that was classic, Bear!
Yeah I couldn't help myself....it seemed appropriate.
Looks like Saban only needs to get rid of 7 more players to fit in his current class. 8 if he keeps his 5 star safety that was arrested twice in 2 days. You know since they cooled on Vonn Bell and whiffed on Conner.
Holy Shit folks, Bearbuck just won the internet!!!!! Bravo sir!
Post of the year!
And I'm with the OP. I'm gonna be extremely disappointed if nobody cares to look at where all that money came from. Its very hard to believe that each of these thugs parents could just dish out that kinda cash that quickly. And even if they did, its easy to find out if the money was instantly transferred into their accounts. If the kids did pay it on their own, then the compliance committee should be able to show proof of how they earned it. No other means is within the rules. 10 minutes of investigating would find this.
I would be surprised to find out these charges magically disappear - those are serious crimes
Pa-Roll Tide is going wild down here right now. People are eating this up. I bet Saban won't sleep for a week.
As it should be.
I personally don't think this should even be Sabans problem. Pretty damn hard to play football with a row of bars between you and freedom. This was a serious enough crime for even a SEC judge to give them time.
Four reserves, one has been arrested before for carrying an illegal firearm. Saban probably walks away from them and has four more scholarships to use.
Officially the four players are released from the team.
Four Alabama players have been dismissed from the team following their arrests after two robberies on campus.
Welp, see ya later.
Classic scene from Dumb and Dumber. If you're ever in need of a conversation filler, this is the best line you can use.

Everyone in the country knew that this was a matter of not if but when Saban would cut bait. Only 6 more to go, keep up the good work.
